Who’s ready for fall and fall trends? The layering, the pumpkin spice lattes; yes I’m ready!
The runways were full of amazing fashion trends, some were grungy, others very feminine. The ’90s are still in full effect plus 40’s making a glamorous entrance and my favorite era; Victorian era!
These are the best fall trends for 2020.
Leather
Leather jackets for fall are huge this year, leather gloves, leather boots, leather everything. So if you ever wanted to look like you belonged in the movie The Matrix now its the time (one of my favorite movies btw) to go out and buy some cute leather clothes.
Knee-High Boots
These fall “boots are made for walking and that’s just what they will do”! We saw them last year and they’re back, stronger than ever. Â
Also, skip the typical black knee-high this year opt-out for a fun color or western style boot which is another big trend this fall.
You can also try an animal print, like cow or snake print, zebra print. The animal print was huge down the runways, vogue calling it the “Animal Instincts”.
Brown
And the many shades it comes in but the richer intones the better. So think about cute leather jackets, brown leather pants, boots. Also, the 70’s coat is another big trend this fall, “setting a precedent for earth tones this fall” said l’officiel.
Animal Print
The cats are out and ready to play. Animal print is here to stay and has completely become the “new neutral” according to vogue. Yes, animal print, can get a little over the top real quick,

Victorian Jacket
Or Victorian era, it was done in such a modest and classic chic way with dainty floral patterns and padded or puffed jackets, very romantic.
This also means that velvet is back in town, along with corsets. But not in the way you remember them! They are chic and sexy, you can try to wear them either over a blouse or something thicker (depends on what you pick up) or just as a sexy corset, you decide.
Chains Chains

Last year we started seeing the thicker chain necklace making a big comeback, NOW they’re everywhere and on anything and I’m not sure how I feel.
Simple trend ideas, you can wear statement chain earrings or necklaces, chain belts.Â
Jewel Tones
Let me start by saying that I absolutely love neutrals, they’re a statement in my closet BUTÂ jewel tones make me feel extra bold and luxe. So when everything else fails don’t go with black, instead, try a dark sapphire or maybe a deep jade to complete your look this fall.
Fringe
Fringe, fringe, and more fringe. Â So take your cowboy hats out for this fall style trend.
This trend keeps making reappearances so if you haven’t picked up a sweater or dress or even a cute accessory now its the time. This trend will probably stay for a couple of seasons so investing in a good pair of fringe items will be worth it.
